Health and Life Coaching

Bold and Beautiful

As a certified Health and Life Coach, I help women identify and transform their limiting mind-set and beliefs so they can overcome challenges and obstacles they never thought possible. In addition, we incorporate new information and steps to create healthy ways to approach eating, exercise and lifestyle.

We do this by gaining a deeper understanding of our bodies, thoughts, and subconscious mind, while incorporating daily healthy habits.

Mindset Shift

More times than not, our mind is what stops us. We hear this voice telling us we won’t be successful in what we are trying to achieve.

Our beliefs are creating limitations, because our brain wants to keep our beliefs as close as it can to reality. Meaning, if we believe we are overweight, our mind wants to confirm that belief so it looks for supporting evidence. Then, when we find it, we go, “See! I am overweight!”, supporting our initial belief.

With intention, we can shift those beliefs and begin changing the “recording”.

Let’s change the narrative!

Habit Change

There’s an input—>output sort of system in our body. We put in food, water, sunlight, music, videos, conversations, pictures, exercise, information, sleep, etc. and we get out, <(more) or > (less) energy, <>mental function, positive/negative attitude, <>stress, <> sleep, etc.

Many of us have been putting in the same types of things for many years, and in return getting the same outcome. But NOW, we want our output to be different! We want energy, more sleep, lower stress, weight loss, motivation, love, career success, …

Meaning, we have to change our INPUT!!!

This is why we NEED habit change.

Accountability

Do you show up for yourself? When you make a plan and a deal with yourself, do you follow through?

What about if you make a plan or deal with someone else?

If your like most people, you sometimes follow through on your own, but if someone else is involved, you won’t back out! Don’t beat yourself up for that, but we want to begin seeing our own worth and see the importance of showing up for ourselves as well.

Coaching gives you that accountability to show up so that your goals WILL be accomplished! The cool aspect of coaching though is that you dig a bit deeper into what’s going on in your mind that makes you do the things you do.

Weight Loss

This can feel SO challenging!!! Everyone seems to have their own idea of how to achieve weight loss and maybe for you, NONE of them have worked! This program is designed for you to have inevitable follow through, so if weight loss is your goal, we’re going to find ways for that to happen. But, I’ll warn you, this looks different than any other weight loss program! The wonderful part is, YOU LEARN HOW to eat that brings energy to your body and discover a healthy way to incorporate weight loss so it’s maintainable and doesn’t come back on again. This way you’ll have a whole different relationship with food and exercise and they are just tools to achieve the physical goals you have.

Stress Management

Stress is a HUGE problem in our society and culture in the U.S. We go and go and go until our tongue is dragging! This does not feel like the way to enjoy life and it is wreaking havoc on our bodies. Stress influences our sleep, disrupts our gut, changes our cravings and diet, changes sex drive, constant muscle tension, increases headaches, causes weight gain, causes weight loss, … and so on. It effects our physical body, our mind, and our behaviors.

When you find ways to lower stress, all other aspects of your life will benefit.

Nutrition

There is so much controversy in food and what is good or bad for you! We’ve got the vegetarian diet, “the body thrives on plants and we can get enough protein through them”, to the carnivore diet, “red meat has all the nutritional value your body needs and you can easily lose weight”.

We want a straight forward answer! Unfortunately, it isn’t straight forward, hence the controversy.

I just met a boy who is allergic to nuts (typical) and kiwis! Well, as you can imagine, those are not good for him personally, while I can eat either one of those and it does provide health benefits. So are nuts and kiwis good or bad? .. depends on the person.

Let’s discover what is best in YOUR diet!

If you are…

  1. Unable to make change and stick with it

  2. Looking for change in health and lifestyle

  3. Seeking sustainable weight loss

  4. Dealing with stress overload

  5. Consistently living with low energy

  6. Weighed down with anxiety

  7. Limited by paralyzing fear

  8. Lacking in self-love and confidence

  9. Crippled from self-doubt

You don’t have to be anymore.

“I’ve wanted to start something new for so long, but can’t seem to make it happen. I’m afraid of what could go wrong or ... failing. “

Bring your dreams to life!

“If I’m being honest, I lost myself raising kids. I found my identity as a mom, but I want to find who I am again and be that fun gal I used to be!”

Build Your Confidence

“The amount of weight loss content is overwhelming! I need help knowing what to do and what foods to eat.”

Lose Weight, Gain Energy

Love

Confidence

Perserverence

Joy

Working with a health coach is very unique in that the sessions are client-centered. Meaning, the conversation is based around the client’s life, circumstances, mind, and body to make changes that are specific to them. There is no cookie cutter agenda or “Book of Change” given because what works for one person may not work for another. Every session is specific to the client’s circumstances and goals.
